Ryijy: creating connections-installaatio luo Stoan galleriaan yhteisöllisen tilan sanojen, kuvien ja kudonnan avulla. Taitelijat Arlene Tucker ja Daniel Malpica kutsuvat sinut jakamaan toiveesi, unelmasi ja pelkosi. Piirtämisen ja luovan kirjoittamisen avulla voit sitoa salaisuutesi toiseen ja osallistua installaation sekä yhteisöllisen ryijyn luomiseen. Installaatio aktivoi monia eri tapoja kommunikoida, saattaen ideoita yhteen sekä laajentaen niitä. Osallistumisesi on arvokas osa installaatiota. Tervetuloa tutustumaan ja ottamaan osaa!

Ryijy: creating connections comes to Stoa gallery this summer! This installation creates a space of togetherness through words, images, and weaving. Arlene Tucker and Daniel Malpica welcome you to share your hopes, dreams, and fears, as well as, read the thoughts of others. You are free to write or draw your feelings and have a helping hand in building a collective ryijy which weaves these thoughts together. The installation activates multiple ways of communication, allowing ideas to be connected and to be expanded. Exploration is encouraged and your presence is valuable. Become a part of the process!

Selected artists have been invited to transform and enhance the space as part of Ryijy Residency programme.
