Things that have happened

I bought this book years ago in NYC and finally I have a chance to read it in Fiskars. It hit me quite deeply as it brought about many memories and thoughts about friendship, the unknown, and how things unfold themselves naturally, sometimes with nudges and pushes.

It unleashed many secrets or feelings of shame that I am too scared to say out loud, but can then write on the ribbons and later weave. Write them, so that they are released, weave them, so that they are still undefinable to others yet free.

A tiny aspect I love about this book is that one of the characters in the story changes her name to Eri when she moves to Finland. Eri, being a common Japanese name, is one way to look at it. And Eri meaning something different in Finnish.

Details. They tell everything.

XOXO
